Welcome to Byaj Khata. By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the application.
1. App Services & Usage
Byaj Khata is a loan management and interest calculation tool designed for shopkeepers, lenders, and small businesses. While we strive to provide a seamless and error-free experience, you are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the data (principal amounts, interest rates, totals, and customer info) entered into the app.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
- Payments: Premium features are processed through the Google Play Store billing system.
- Refunds: Refund requests are governed by Google Play Store's refund policies.
- Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions anytime through your Google Play Account settings.
3. Google Drive Backup & Data Ownership
- Data Ownership: You own 100% of the data you create. We do not store your loan records or customer ledgers on our servers.
- Backup Service: The app uses the
drive.appdatascope to store backups in a hidden folder on your personal Google Drive. This ensures your data is safe and private. - Privacy: Our access is limited strictly to the files created by Byaj Khata. We cannot see your personal Drive files.
- Responsibility: We are not responsible for data loss due to Google service outages, account suspension, or if you manually delete the hidden app data from your Google settings.
4. Advertising (AdMob)
The free version of Byaj Khata uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. These ads help us keep the basic features free for everyone. By using the app, you agree to the display of such ads.
5. User Responsibility & Compliance
Users are responsible for complying with their local money lending laws, tax regulations, and business requirements while calculating interest and managing ledgers. Byaj Khata is a utility tool, not a legal or financial advisor.
6. Use of Contacts Permission
The app may request access to your device contacts (READ_CONTACTS permission) to improve user experience by allowing quick selection of customer details such as name and phone number.
- Optional Permission: Granting contacts permission is completely optional. Users can use the app without providing this permission by manually entering customer details.
- Limited Use: Contacts data is accessed only for selecting contact information within the app and is not used for any other purpose.
- No Data Storage or Sharing: The app does not store, upload, or share your contacts data with any external servers or third parties.
- User Control: Users can revoke contacts permission at any time through their device settings. Some features related to contact selection may be limited if permission is denied.
7. Intellectual Property
You agree not to attempt to extract the source code of the app, decompile, or create derivative versions. All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights related to Byaj Khata belong to the developer.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
